Interesting Books that enjoyed reading this Summer

1. A God in Every Stone by Kamila Shamsie
2. The Forty Rules of Love by Elif Shafak
3. The Accidental Prime Minister by Sanjaya Baru

All the three books are different though first two are historical fiction - third one is the non-fiction

A God in Every Stone:
Passion for learning about history, inlcudes the interevention of war and the struggle for independence in the Indian subcontinent. The story moves around historical places.  This is the story of Vivian Rose Spencer, Qayyum Gul, Diwa and Najeeb Gul. Very interesting and the narrative style is interesting.

The forty Rules of Love deals with the middle aged woman who leaves a unhappy life and while taking up the assignment to edit a new author's book she finds about her own life and she transforms her life. Here again we see the life of Rumi and how the Sufi way of life makes entangles with various characters. Interesting narration.

The Accidental Prime Minister is totally different genre from the books that I mentioned. This book is about the PMOs office during 2004-2008 when the author worked as a Media Adviser to the Prime Minister. Very simple narration.
