Stories of my journey through public transport

I don’t know why I enjoy travelling public transport. Many people asked several times. Why you don’t own a vehicle. Frankly speaking I never felt the need of owning. I stay in a place where public transport is easily available to all the places in the city. I never missed any appointment or late for the events. I have seen several facets of human nature while travelling.

Quite for some time thoughts in my head related to sharing them or writing them buzzing me, finally I sat down putting them on paper.

These incidents are not in any order (say date or year) but as and when I recollect them will share them.

Let me share the one with my journey from Hyderabad to Raichur

I was travelling in KSRTC (Karnataka Transport) bus. One habit of mine is to carry a book with me in case I get time to read if the roads are good. The same week I got a new book of John Grisham. I was travelling during day time the bus was not crowded and had enough room to sit leisurely, so    I started reading the book and the story was interesting and fast paced except when I need break I didn’t stop reading. While reading, I felt some one was watching me curiously, I stopped reading and looked that was the bus conductor. After issuing tickets he started watching me and I felt he was in a mood to start conversation and I obliged. He started ಕಾದಂಬರಿ? I was struck as I didn’t know the meaning after couple of minutes I realized he is talking about the fiction I am reading.

He started talking about his interest in books and how he borrows from his community library and so on. As the commuters got in after some time he was busy. I finished reading the book. While getting down from the bus when I reached my destination I took my book and gave it to him and walked away, I still have no idea what prompted me to do so.
