Enola Holmes

I am not a reviewer of movies, though watch movies at times a selective and a wide variety of genres. On 23rd September logged into Netflix and found the title "Enola Holmes", surprised. I wanted to watch the movie of any Sherlock Holmes stories. What starts as a story of Enola's mother disappears on her 16th birthday. Enola goes in search of her mother. Right from her young days, she is trained by her mother and she learns the tricks of the trade for which Sherlock Holmes is known for. The clues left by her mother makes her to decide to make the trip to London, in the process she is involved in rescuing Viscount Tewkesbury as the story progresses is linked to the story of Enola's mother disappearance.  Without giving away the story to make the story interesting I write things that made me think...

Raising a child that to a girl seems to be an issue right from various ages. To me what is important is learning skills are important and not the gender, owing to the pressure Enola changes her disguise.

Elite, the politics of suffragettes, traditionalists seem to be the most important than the life itself. Politics, Society, and culture portray quite well. To me, the movie is thought-provoking though, and enjoyed watching though the story is a bit serious.
