What these books taught me

           1.    Creative Confidence: Unleashing the Creative Potential within Us All by Tom Kelley         and David Kelley
The authors view each human being is capable of creativity, but due to various reasons
the confidence about the trait is lost. This book talks about the creative confidence and
how one can overcome the obstacles in enhancing the confidence. I found this book
interesting as the book dealt general subject like creativity in simple language with lots
of anecdotes and stories.  Though at times I felt there are certain points which are
mentioned in various scriptures and stories that I read or heard.

What I learned from this book – I had totally different notion about creativity. This
book gave me totally a different outlook towards creativity and how each one is
capable of creative ideas and how one can inculcate the habit of nurturing the
creativeness and enjoy life while doing trivial things as well.

     2.     The End of Your Life Book Club by Will Schwalbe
This book deal with books definitely as the title suggests. Author’s mother is diagnosed
and she visits hospital for her cancer treatment. During their trips to hospital mother
and son discuss the books that they read and plan readings as well. Author finds a lot
of change that occurs during their sessions talking about books.

What I learned from this book – to talk about book you can have a club with 2
members as well. How the discussion about books can change perception towards a
person.

     3.   By the River Piedra I sat Down and Wept by Paulo Coelho
Pilar meets her childhood friend after 11 years who happens to be now a handsome
young spiritual leader. While traveling with him for 3 days transforms her various
ideas.

Each book is different as they dealt different subjects. What I liked about this book is
that simple narration and with thought provoking idea.  I did learn about spirituality and
my perception changed to a certain extent.
